I love this concept- it’s a great on-the-go option. It’s perfect for a snack or after dinner treat. There are so many great restaurants close by – Market Table, Bar Pitti, Da Silvano, Blue Ribbon Bakery, Aqua Grill, Ino, 10 Downing, Joe’s Pizza, John’s Pizza, Morandi, Ditch Plains, Pearl and more…..So you should grab a bite and top it off with a popbar!

My hubby and I went to Market Table for brunch on Saturday. We love the West Village, and Market Table is the perfect spot because it has a good selection of breakfast and lunch items on the brunch menu. This restaurant/market combo churns out brunch, lunch and dinner. I’ve been for all 3 meals, and always leave pleased. I love the laid back, chill atmosphere coupled with great food and service. The large windows brings in a lot of sunlight which makes it a great brunch spot. For dinner, the lighting is perfect- really sets a romantic tone.

Think of Marea as the Italian equivalent of Le Bernardin. The food at Marea is fantastic. From the well prepared fish dishes, to the stellar pasta- everything was superb! The space is beautiful, and the service- impeccable!

David Chang’s midtown French-Vietnamese spot is good but it doesn’t really match up to his East Village spots. Needless to say, it definitely has the Chang “thang”- bold flavors with great mixtures. The resto has a stripped down feel with high ceilings and no windows.
