Adventures of the Glam Foodie: Marea is Marvelous!
Think of Marea as the Italian equivalent of Le Bernardin. The food at Marea is fantastic. From the well prepared fish dishes, to the stellar pasta- everything was superb! The space is beautiful, and the service- impeccable!
-Crudo: Striped marlin topped with caviar- extremely fresh and light.
-Calamari: Lobster and shrimp filled squid with tomato, basil and oil- this dish was full of flavor, and the calamari wasn’t too chewy.
-Garganelli with sausage ragu- This is proof that Marea is not just about the fish. The pasta was prepared to perfection, and the sausage ragu was tasty and rich.
-Halibut with chanterelles and peas- The fish was light and flaky. Everything on the plate worked well together.
-Bistec: 50 day dry aged sirloin- Delicious!
CHAT: I can’t wait to go back because there are so many other things on the menu I’m dying to try.
