MPD- A MEPA Newcomer
We descended upon a Mepa newcomer last night- MPD! The lively dinner spot didn’t disappoint. We trickled in at different times, and all got in sync over cocktails at the bar. As we were shown to our table, I chatted it up with the energetic host who gave us the rundown on this newcomer. I surveyed the spot and quickly saw the vision of how it would be transformed from a sophisticated dining room to a glam late night hot spot!
CHOW: We started with a “Tuesday Special”- lobster omelette with bearnaise sauce (it was an entree and we all wanted to try it but didn’t want to commit to it as one of our entrees, so we had it as an appetizer.) It was delish! We jumped on it so quickly I wasn’t able to get a picture in it’s full form (see pic). The delectable breakfast-like treat was followed by scallops with risotto and chorizo, salmon with zucchini and short ribs…..And I can’t forget the sides of carrots and mashed potatoes (not as thick as I would have liked).
I’ll definitely go back but probably later in the week so I can stick around post dinner for a few cocktails.
