The Lion opened up about 5 months ago with celeb chef John DeLucie (from the Waverly Inn) at the helm.
I’ve been to the Lion about half a dozen times and always have a great experience. The bar is usually packed with a lot of suits, and as you descend upon the dining room, you quickly see that it’s not all about the suits….it’s about the celebs.
CELEB SIGHTINGS: Janet Jackson, Cindy Crawford, Leo DiCaprio, Cameron Diaz, John Mayer and more!
And there’s more eye candy….You can marvel at Basquiat’s “Rome Pays Off”!
I really like the Lion because it provides a great balance of good food and a cool vibe.
CHOW FAVES: Amish chicken, The burger, Scallops, Sheep’s milk cavatelli, Tuna tartare and The green+white asparagus
THE SWEET SPOT: Cheesecake in a jar
