Top Sip, Chat, & Chow Spot: L’Artusi

I always have a great time at L’Artusi- it’s one of my FAVES! I also adore their sister restaurant- Dell’anima. Both are spots you must visit!!!!

L’Artusi:

The seasonal Italian menu has a few essentials and some creative dishes. I usually go with a group so we start off by sharing a few of the small to medium plates, then dive into our entrees. There are so many great things on the menu that my CHOW FAVES are going to look like I included the entire menu.

CHOW FAVES:

-Hamachi crudo: Thinly sliced, fresh and light.

-Roasted mushrooms with fried egg, pancetta and ricotta salata: This was such an unexpected dish. I could’ve eaten an entree size. The textures and flavors worked so well together.

-Potato gnocchi with chicken sugo and winter veggies: This one is quite addictive. The gnocchi was cooked to perfection, and the chicken sugo gave it such a pop!

-Tagliatelle bolognese bianco: Very good…not too heavy.

-Brussels Sprouts: It’s definitely not the kind mama used to make. It tasted like fried artichokes with a twist.

-Charred octopus with potatoes, chilies, olives and pancetta: Really enjoyed this bold dish. It had great balance.

SIP: They have an extensive, mostly Italian wine list….and a good sommelier.

CHAT: This restaurant is great for any occasion- date night, girl’s night out, brunch, and for celebrations (great back room on the 2nd floor).
