This spot was featured in my Fall line-up, and I was dying to check it out.

Michael White strikes again- but this time with a casual and cozy Italian resto. When you first walk in it feels like a family-style restaurant that should be in Little Italy. The predominately wood decor gives it a very homely feel.

There was so much to choose from on the menu- sliced meats, salads, crostini’s, pasta, meat and fish! I couldn’t wait to dive in. We started with olive bread, and a perfectly balanced spread of olive oil. It was in the cutest little bottle.

Now on to my CHOW FAVES:

Proscuitto and Mortadella Meatballs- Had great flavor- it just melted in my mouth. We definitely could’ve had another bowl or two.

Arugula Salad- It really evened things out. Light and crisp!

Seafood Salad- The scallops, shrimp, octopus and squid mix tossed in a lemon dressing was delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection. The celery and olives gave it a nice touch of flavor and texture.

Macaroni with Pork Sausage Meat Sauce- It was a familiar dish- but still tasty!

The Creste – A great pasta dish if you’re looking for something with seafood that’s fresh, light and savory.

SIP: A couple of glasses of Chianti, and the wine on tap. The wine on tap was perfectly balanced and light, with a slight chill. The waitress recommended it, and I was very pleased.

CHAT: It’s open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and brunch. It’s definitely worth checking out for one of those meals! ;)
