The Thirst: An Underground Wine Society- Thursday, 11/18

The pop-up theme culinary experience is hosted by Todd English. It’s a secret dinner and cocktail party where you have to make ressies online and wait for an email response.

Thursday's event was at Ca Va, and celebrated the Bordeaux and Burgundy harvest
with a four-course meal.

The vibe was fantastic- upbeat and poppin'! There was a DJ spinning the hits,
a great crowd, and comparable food and cocktails!

When we walked in, we were greeted with cocktails and hor dourves.
CHOW: 
Hor Dourves:
-Long Island Oysters Escargot Style (My Fave)
-Classic Steak Tartar Pissaladiere
-Crab Louie Cone
-French Onion Soup Crepinette
First Course:
-Assorted Savory Vtarts
-Roasted Crepe Mushroom
-Truffle and Foie Gras
-Scallops and Pumpkin
Second Course:
-Whole Roasted Stuffed Baby Lamb
-Sliced Leg of Lamb
-Pistachio-Mint Whipped Potatoes
-Roasted Turnips
-Braised Winter Greens
-Lamb Jus
SIP: Wine
-Louis Latour Puligny- Montrachet 1er Cru "Sous Le Puit" 2006
-Simmonnet-Febvre Chablis 1er Cru Vaillons 2008
-Les Hauts De Pontet Canet 200
THE SWEET SPOT:
-Crispy Hazelnut Mousse Coffee Cream, Sour Cherry Pearls, Chocolate Short Bread
