DINNER WITH DAWN FROM DIDDY-DIRTY MONEY: HER SIP, CHAT, & CHOW….
I GOT THE SCOOP FROM DAWN RICHARD (DIDDY-DIRTY MONEY) BEFORE THEIR DOPE PERFORMANCE ON SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE. DAWN WAS EXCITED FOR THE PERFORMANCE AND THE RELEASE OF THEIR DEBUT ALBUM “LAST TRAIN TO PARIS”. SO WITH ALL THIS EXCITEMENT, I WANTED TO KNOW WHAT DAWN’S FAVORITE RESTAURANT IS TO CELEBRATE, AMONG OTHER QUESTIONS. CHECK OUT MY EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW.
Tricia: What are your favorite restaurants in NYC? And Why?
Dawn: I have 3…
1- Cafeteria is my hang out spot… Mac & Cheese is life.
2- The Coffee Shop is my hideaway… A restaurant up top, club at the bottom. Love!
3- Haru is my favorite sushi spot… The ambiance is great and the rolls are everything.
Tricia: What stands out to you that makes it one of your favorite restaurants?
Dawn: I love places ducked off… Little dives that have atmosphere.
Haru has these twilight lights that surround the restaurant. It makes me feel like I’m in a fairytale.
Tricia: What are your favorite dishes on the menu?
Dawn: At Cafeteria, My CHOW FAVES-
Mac and Cheese and the Fried Chicken. I’m a southern girl all day!
Tricia: Do you have dessert?
Dawn: I love blackberry lemonade. It reminds me of my chair swing on the porch in Louisiana.
Tricia: Do you have a cocktail or wine?
Dawn: My SIP-
Plum wine is my cocktail of choice. It’s sweet and sexy!
Tricia: Who do you like to go to dinner with?
Dawn: I like to dine alone. I’m a thinker. I get my best ideas over food and wine, alone.
Tricia: Who would you like to have dinner with- dead or alive?
Dawn: I’d love to have dinner with Michael Jackson, James Brown, Prince, and Phil Collins. That would be an interesting dinner!
Tricia: What’s your favorite meal of all time?
Dawn: Seafood Gumbo and Crawfish are my life meal. LOL
Tricia: What’s your favorite junk food/candy?
Dawn: I actually love anything sweet. That’s a huge weakness of mine. LOL
Tricia: What would your last meal be?
Dawn: Boiled crawfish with spiced corn, potatoes, and a side of my Aunt’s seafood gumbo.
Tricia: What’s your ultimate dinner playlist?
Phil Collins, “In The Air Tonight”
Florence and the Machine, “Heavy In Your Arms”
Bat for Lashes, “Glass”
Sia, “My Love”
Dirty Money “1st Place Loser”
Prince, “Darling Nikki”
Queen, “Bohemian Rhapsody”
