Props for Perry St
Perry St is located at the bottom of the all glass Richard Meier structure off the west side highway. The dining room is modern and serene with clean lines. The New American/French menu is quite diverse.
This is the perfect spot for a business meeting, a date, a night out, or when you have family/friends in town. It’s a proper, elegant, upscale yet casual spot. They serve lunch, dinner, and brunch- with lunch and brunch specials for $26. That’s a great deal especially because it’s a Jean-Georges resto!
Sauteed Shrimp: Full of flavor.
Crispy Poached Eggs: Good combination of texture, taste, and balance. The caviar added the right amount of saltiness.
Sashimi: Thinly slice and lightly seasoned.
Sweet Chili Crab Dumplings: It melted in my mouth. There were huge chunks of crab inside the pasta-like ravioli.
Sea Bass with Portabello Fries: The fish was cooked perfectly- the skin was slightly crispy and the portabello fries were tasty.
Butter Poached Lobster: Amazing…simply delicious.
Cheeseburger: Perfect size- Grade A and juicy!
SIP: Good cocktails and wine list.
