The Strip House is one of my favorites. I love the burlesque-themed decor designed by David Rockwell! It’s definitely a departure from the traditional steak house. The red lighting and tone makes it fun and sexy! It’s a top notch steakhouse that’s a bit more trendy than your father’s steak house. The seats are pretty close together but the red velvet-covered walls and cozy booths make up for it.

The Strip House offers a great package- ambiance, tasty sides and apps, and great steak!

MY CHOW FAVES:

Bacon- Similar to Wolfgang’s. Very unhealthy but so good.

Seafood Tower- Shrimp, crab, lobster, oysters, clams, and diced scallops.

Filet- Beautiful char, cooked just right.

Bone-In Rib-Eye- Juicy…the meat was well marbled.

Black Truffle Creamed Spinach- An explosion of goodness.

Mac & Cheese- Good and hearty.

MY SIP: Great selection of wine.

CHAT: They have locations in Las Vegas, Houston, Naples, Key West, and Livingston, NJ.

Strip House- 13 East 12th St / 212-328-0000
