The bright and vivacious South American, Nuevo Latino resto is great for groups. It has a loft-like, clubby feel…and as you can see from the picture below, very fiery!

The eclectic, broad menu (primarily designed for sharing) offers great Modern Latin dishes that range from ceviche, to skewers, to empanadas, arepas, poached lobster, and a paella-type dish with duck. The portions are on the small side so order accordingly.

Spicy Tuna: This is a unique take on spicy tuna….it reminded me of a rice crispy treat. Very good!

Hamachi Ceviche: Fantastic Flavor!

Chifa Empanadas: Pork and rock shrimp with a curry mustard sauce. It was too familiar…next time I’ll try the oxtail empanadas.

Scallops: I loved the parmesean crust and the sauce was delish. Gnnochi was good but sparce.

Lobster Chupe: I preferred the scallops but this dish was pretty solid.

Choclo Tres Leches with Dulce de Leche Ice Cream and Popcorn: Very interesting and tasty- not too sweet. The different textures really added to the dessert- cake, foam, popcorn, and ice cream.

SIP: Good cocktail list.
