I realized I didn’t have much of a selection of vegan/vegetarian options on Sip, Chat, Chow so I went straight to the source- my boss, Russell Simmons.
Ever wonder why Russell always looks so young, fit and healthy? Besides yoga, he credits his diet.

Tricia: What’s your favorite SIP- Restaurant with a great cocktail menu?
Russell: Well, you know I don’t drink but my favorite spots for healthy drinks are:
Liquiteria- I usually have Green Veggie Juice.
Organic Avenue- It’s a great juice bar.
Tricia: What’s your favorite CHOW- Restaurant for great vegan food?
Russell: There are a few spots. I love the cafe at Jivamukti Yoga Center- You can always count on cute yogi’s and great food.
And Gobo has a wide selection of good dishes.

Tricia: What’s your CHOW CRAVE- Restaurant that satisfies your current craving?
Russell: House of Vegetarian- I really like the Curry Wheat Gluten, it’s like my version of chitlins.
Tricia: What’s your favorite junk food?
Russell: Vegetarian Paradise- They have steak, ribs, fish and chicken- all made from soy. It’s junk food to me because it’s processed.
