Amar’e resurrected the NY Knicks, and for that we are all grateful! The Garden is buzzing again, and with the recent addition of Melo, the season continues to get better! Since arriving in NYC, Amar’e has been taking care of business on and off the court. He’s teaming up with Rachel Roy to produce a fashion line, launching youth basketball academies this summer, and is averaging 26 pts, 8 rebounds and 2 blocks per game. I would say Amar’e is #WINNING!

Amar’e has embraced all NYC has to offer especially when it comes to good eats!

Check out his Sip, Chat, Chow:

Tricia: What’s your Favorite Sip- restaurant with a great wine and/or cocktail menu?

Amar’e: The Lion – They have a great wine list and the Cabernet Sauvignon is a must!

Tricia: What’s your Favorite Chat- go-to restaurant when dining with friends and family?

Amar’e: Serendipity 3 – It’s a great place to take my kids when they are in town. Great atmosphere, and they have the best dessert in the city. We like to share the Frozen Hot Chocolate.

Tricia: What’s your Favorite Chow- restaurant for dinner?

Amar’e: Prime Grill has a great Kosher menu. I will take anything from the menu.

Tricia: What’s your Favorite Chow Crave- restaurant that satisfies your current craving?

Amar’e: Haagen-Dazs Ice cream Shop – My current craving is ice cream, so I like to pop in different shops as I walk around the city.

Tricia: Who would you like to go to dinner with – dead or alive?

Amar’e: Dead – Tupac / Alive – Lauryn Hill

Tricia: What’s your favorite junk food/candy?

Amar’e: The gummy bears from the Ritz Carlton are hands down the best. I take trips to the hotel even if I’m not staying there and try to find them.

Tricia: What’s your ultimate pre-game meal?

Amar’e: I like to keep it light on a game day, so grilled Talapia and penne pasta with alfredo sauce.

CHAT: Thanks, Amar’e! See you in the Playoffs!
