My friend’s friend put this cool event together. It’s a great way to spend your Saturday!

KOI is one of my favorite sushi spots because of the crispy rice with spicy tuna, baked crab roll, albacore with onions, and I can go on and on! I was delighted to hear that KOI recently introduced a new low calorie menu- all under 300 calories! Now you can dine out without feeling guilty.

And I’m not the only one that’s super excited about the new skinny menu. Celebrity fans of Koi’s new light dishes and low-calorie cocktails include: Lea Michele, Karina Smirnoff, Ashley Greene, Joe Jonas, Colin Farrell, Avril Lavigne, Brody Jenner, Mel BAli Fedotowsky, Katharine McPhee, and more…

When you walk into The Darby, you’re greeted with a lively, swanky, opulent and sophisticated scene. I could totally see Don Draper (from Mad Men) sipping on a cocktail, feasting on oysters while leaning back in one of the posh red banquettes.

The live music is reason enough to go. The band was terrific. All throughout dinner we grooved to classic soul hits like Outstanding, Respect and All I Do. They even threw in a reggae set.

The retro-inspired supper club/speakeasy is about an all encompassing experience- live music, american fare and old-school glamour.

The new American menu  focuses on the classics- Shrimp Cocktail, Oysters Rockefeller, Steak Tartare, Lamb and an extensive raw bar. The food was pretty good. I wouldn’t go back just for the food but like I said, it’s about the entire experience. And I would definitely go back for that!

Here’s my latest creation that I concepted, styled and produced. It was inspired by my love of fashion, style and amazing food. I wanted to take something we all crave and give it a luxury lift. This tasty chic collection gives a high end, glam aesthetic to our favorite icy treats. It’s ice cream sans the calories but full of style.
