This is what you expect when you walk into the Plaza Hotel for brunch at the Oak Room on a Saturday afternoon.

But instead, it’s more like this……

The classy and elegant atmosphere is certainly in tact throughout the Plaza Hotel while the raucous crowd is tucked away in the Oak Room. It’s a DeBRUNCHERY!

The Day & Night Brunch at the Oak Room is a non-stop party! Things get going at about 2:30 when the food arrives, and once 4p hits- it’s all about Sipping, Spraying and Dancing till about 6:30p when you roll out with your buzz on! The brunch left me needing to recuperate instead of prepping for a night out – but that’s fine by me considering Saturday night in NYC is pretty lame. Even though brunch at the Oak Room is about poppin’ bottles and groovin’ to beats, the food is pretty good.

I must caution you though, this isn’t a prix-fixe kinda brunch- come ready to drop some paper ….right, Jen Yu?!

CHOW FAVES:

Lobster Scramble- Delish!

Steak & Eggs- A great hearty and tasty option.

Lobster Roll Sliders- Savory bites.

Lobster Eggs Benny- The combination of lobster, eggs and hollandaise sauce was terrific.

Salmon with Veggies- Standard.

French Toast Bites- Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It was the perfect sweet treat.

SIP: Moet Ice Imperial
