When we pulled up to the parking lot at Club 55 it was packed with Ferrari’s, Porsche’s and Bentley’s. We knew we were in the right place! The exclusive private beach club is situated on Pampelonne Beach.
I loved the laid back and elegant atmosphere. It was sexy and intimate with a bustling undertone. And you can’t experience all of this unless you make a ressie for loungers and a table at the resto.
L’Arc is one part resto, one part bar and 2 parts night club (in and outdoor)…and that equals one of the hottest supper clubs in Paris! The stylish and swanky resto is designed to the nines with a fantastic view of the famed Arc de Triomphe.
The chic decor is accented by glass ball chandeliers, floor to ceiling windows and stylish furniture. Chef Anthony Germani (alum of L’Atelier Joel Robuchon) delivers an inventive global menu that is just as pleasing as the design. He puts a modern twist on classic dishes.
Our first day in Paris was amazing! We took a break from shopping and sight seeing to have lunch at Le Comptoir du Relais located in the heart of the left bank- part of a 4 star hotel called the Relais Saint Germain.
The casual French brasserie/bistro has a great menu and it’s perfect for people watching. They don’t take ressies for lunch but it’s work the wait.
There’s no shortage of Spanish tapas spots in Chelsea, the area is flanked with good ones- Boqueria, Tia Pol, El Quinto Pino and Socarraat. So, Salinas had some stiff competition coming in…and they rose to the occasion!
The unique, airy Mediterranean vibe set in a loungy space with ocean blue banquettes and a retractable roof gives you the best of both worlds- indoor and outdoor dining. And the front bar area is perfect for cocktails and a few small bites.
The menu is packed with classic and seasonal tapas along with must-haves like paella.
We headed down to Miami to support our friend Jason Kidd in hopes that the Dallas Mavericks would close out the series in game 6 against the Miami Heat. And they did it! Congrats to the Dallas Mavericks! The game was great. We were on the edge of our seats until the Mavs pulled away towards the end of the 4th quarter.
We started the night off with pre-game cocktails and dinner at Prime One Twelve. This South Beach hot spot consistently delivers great food, tasty cocktails and a cool crowd (with a few celebrity sightings). The chic space with exposed brick and outdoor seating creates an airy and hipster feel- a true departure from your average steakhouse.
This is one steakhouse that strikes a great balance- you can order an item other than steak and be satisfied. The menu is broad and delicious with hearty portions.
