I happen to be in Murray Hill a few nights ago so I decided to roll by Inoteca. It’s the perfect spot for a glass of wine and a few small bites. I must warn you though, it’s always crowded and pretty loud. I have to say- I definitely prefer the LES outpost and the spot that started it all, Ino! Nevertheless, it’s a good option if you’re in the area.
Carbs are in full effect at this Italian wine bar delivering solid pasta dishes, paninis, bruschette, salads, meats and cheese.
CHOW FAVES:
Truffle Egg Toast – Truffles make everything taste good, and the chopped asparagus added a nice texture!
Pesto and Tapenade Bruschette- Scrumptious!
Meatballs- Juicy and tasty.
Rucola Salad with Bresola- I love this salad! The pickled onion, pecorino and bresaola are a perfect mix.
SIP:
Good wine selection.
THE SWEET SPOT:
Carrot Cake with Caramel- Moist and not too sweet.
