NBA Finals Pre-Game Meal and Cocktails At Prime One Twelve
We headed down to Miami to support our friend Jason Kidd in hopes that the Dallas Mavericks would close out the series in game 6 against the Miami Heat. And they did it! Congrats to the Dallas Mavericks! The game was great. We were on the edge of our seats until the Mavs pulled away towards the end of the 4th quarter.
We started the night off with pre-game cocktails and dinner at Prime One Twelve. This South Beach hot spot consistently delivers great food, tasty cocktails and a cool crowd (with a few celebrity sightings). The chic space with exposed brick and outdoor seating creates an airy and hipster feel- a true departure from your average steakhouse.
This is one steakhouse that strikes a great balance- you can order an item other than steak and be satisfied. The menu is broad and delicious with hearty portions.
Bacon @ the Bar – These are my kind of bar snacks. The bacon was perfect.
Arugula Salad with Roasted Beets and Goat Cheese Croutons – Standard.
Crab Cocktail- Light and fresh….a great way to start the meal.
Kobe Beef Sliders- These bite-size treats hit the spot!
Crab Legs- Succulent.
Sea Bass- Well cooked and seasoned nicely with asian influences.
Crab Crusted Grouper- Nicely done! The horseradish butter was an excellent compliment to the fish.
Chicken- Moist and flavorful….both the chicken and mashed potatoes.
Mac & Cheese- Mouth-watering yumminess. We had one with truffles and the other was packed with chunks of lobster.
Bone-In Rib Eye- Superb…charcoal crisp on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside.
Moscow Mule – This seems to be one of my go-to summer cocktails. It’s so light and refreshing!
After the game, we headed over to LIV for the big celebration! And I can’t remember the rest. LOL
