Dinner With Taraji Henson: Her Sip, Chat, Chow

Taraji not only knows how to bring her ferocious and dynamic energy to the big and small screen, but also to the restaurant scene. She’s a gal who really enjoys good eats!

Currently, Taraji can be seen starring in the CBS hit show “Person of Interest” and in the upcoming movie “Think Like A Man” based on Steve Harvey’s book “Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man” in theaters on March 9th.

Tricia: What’s your favorite SIP- restaurant or lounge that has a great wine and/or cocktail menu?

Taraji: I’m typically attracted to restaurants for their food and a great glass of wine. Right now, I’d like to go to Milos in NYC and order a bottle of their best Pinot Noir to go with the best fish in town.

Tricia: What’s your go-to restaurant for 2012?

Taraji: Any good Italian restaurant…. anywhere!!

Tricia: What’s your favorite CHOW- restaurant for dinner?

Taraji: My favorite restaurant is E. Baldi on Canon Dr. in Beverly Hills, and I usually order their fabulous homemade pasta with truffles.

Tricia: What’s your current Chow Crave?

Taraji: My current craving is Udon Noodles from Yo-Sushi, it’s a take out place in NYC, and I never have to leave the comfort of my sofa.

Tricia: What’s your favorite restaurant for a fun “Girl’s Night Out”?

Taraji: Nobu NY on 57th is where I meet Mary J. Blige and the girls. I order my favorite – Toro Caviar.

Tricia: Who would you like to go to dinner with- dead or alive?

Taraji: Diana Ross.

Tricia: What’s your favorite junk food/candy?

Taraji: Gummi Bears.
