Danny Meyers and Chef Floyd Cardoz have taken their talents to the southern tip of Manhattan- Battery Park City. North End Grill is a casual, open, chic, modern resto stocked with a stylish dining room, vibrant bar area and open kitchen. The vibe and aesthetic lends itself to business lunches/dinners, gatherings for locals, and weekend brunch.
The American menu with eclectic and classic options delivers flavorful and skillfully prepared dishes. I was a big fan of the egg section. It’s worth a visit if you’re in the area.
CHOW FAVES:
Clam Pizza- Comfort food at its best.

Hamachi Sashimi with Seaweed Salad- Fresh and light.

Grilled Louisiana Shrimp- Well seasoned.
Coddled Egg with Peekytoe Crab, Bacon and Grits- Vibrant flavors.
