It’s been a while since I’ve had such an amazing dining experience. The food was fantastic! Chef Daniel Humm (formerly of Eleven Madison Park) exhibits an awesome display of inventive and well executed dishes. The service and decor were equally impressive.
We had the pleasure of dining in the Parlour which is off to the side of the atrium and lively bar area. It was dark and sexy with red textured fabrics, and perfectly lit.

Bread with Zucchini and Pecorino Cheese- Who wants standard bread and butter after having this!
Trout- The cucumbers were shredded like strings of pasta….a great accompaniment to the smoked trout.
Salmon Rillettes- Creamy and savory….such a treat.
Poached Egg- Wonderful textural and flavor profiles. The toasted quinoa was unexpected and delivered an unforgettable smoky essence.
Tagliatelle with King Crab- A flawless dish. The pasta melted in my mouth. The sweet crab blended nicely with the buttery pasta sprinkled with lemon and pepper.
Beef- Incredibly tender and juicy with a bolt of flavor from the bone marrow crust and mushrooms.
Chicken Stuffed with Black Truffle Foie Gras with a Brioche Crust- This isn’t your Grandmother’s Sunday Chicken Dinner. When they brought it out, I joked and said it looked like it had spent the weekend in the Hamptons tanning. It was pure decadence. I woke up the next day craving it…..by far the best chicken dish I’ve ever had.
Scallops- Seared to perfection!
Halibut- It tasted as good as it looked…..simple preparation with a light, creamy, citrus sauce.
THE SWEET SPOT:
Milk and Honey- Great textures….ice cream with airy and crunchy brittle.
Paris is Burning- Skilled mixologists serve up a collection of well-edited libations.
