Pylos is super cute and cozy! I really love the vibe, food and ceiling of clay pots! Pylos delivers a collection of traditional Greek classics along with a few creative dishes in a cool environment in the East Village.
Make a ressie, or take a chance and you might score a spot at the communal table.

Kim Kardashian, Michelle Obama, Kate Hudson and Penélope Cruz are just a few ladies who have adorned red carpets and concrete catwalks with the esquisite designs of Rachel Roy. Rachel’s style, charm and drive are infectious! She’s more than a pretty face with gorgeous designs, her charity work has impacted the lives of many and she continues to give back. And it doesn’t end here, Rachel is raising her 2 amazing daughters that will undoubtedly run the world, just like mom!
I was so excited about getting Rachel’s Sip, Chat, Chow because I knew there would be spots on her list that transcended food, and would have a focus on the entire experience, especially the aesthetic. As you’ll see from the below, Rachel is going back to her ABC’s.

Tom Colicchio delivers waterfront dining starring locally sourced food at Riverpark. It’s located in a barren area that’s out of the way but it’s worth the trip.
The beautiful view of the East River really sets the tone for the elegant, modern and warm atmosphere. This beauty runs throughout all elements including the food. Riverpark has a romantic feel but it’s also good for big groups. The noise level is low so you can actually have a conversation.
The New American Menu delivers innovative dishes with Mediterranean influences and locally sourced ingredients- some from their very own Farm out front.
We had brunch outside on the charming terrace and it was wonderful. We brunched on unique and expertly prepared dishes that went beyond standard omelets and french toast.
