This is a timely post since Conde Nast just ranked Brooklyn one of the world’s 15 best places to visit!
L&B Spumoni Gardens is a Brooklyn institution! Brooklynites and people from all over flock to L&B for their crispy, slightly sweet sauce that lays on top of the cheese square slice. I’ve loved it since I was a kid growing up in Brooklyn, and it’s still one of my faves. PS- You can top it off with Spumoni ice cream or an Italian ice.

Heather Mitts is a pro soccer player and 2 time Olympic gold medalist. I’m always intrigued by athletes and their eating habits and preferences….so I went straight to the athletic and outgoing soccer beauty to get her Sip, Chat, Chow!

I had dinner with my long time friend Jason Kidd last week, and it was lots of fun- as usual. The King of The Triple Double- 107 all time, 3rd behind Oscar Robinson and Magic Johnson isn’t missing a beat. The 17 year NBA veteran still has a lot of gas left in the tank leading the Dallas Mavericks to one of the best records in the West.
When it comes to food, Jason is a risk taker and open to trying new things. Historically, he always wants to finish first and the same holds true when it comes to a great meal.

La Vals Pizza can give NYC a run for their money. Well- it depends on your preference. I love pizza, and this place didn’t disappoint.
Everything was just right. The pizza had a great balance of sauce, cheese, and toppings.
Pepperoni Pizza: Perfection!
Greek Pizza: A lot of flavor topped with feta and sausage.
BBQ Pizza: Chicken, bacon, and onions- YUMMY!
