It’s mostly about “THE SIP” in this post. I went to the ultra-charming new cocktail lounge, Weather Up in Tribeca on Monday night. I’m glad this Brooklyn-born spot decided to cross the bridge. When you first walk in, to the right is the bar, and part of it is laced with all the fixin’s for a mixologist to get busy. The spot isn’t small but definitely has a personal feel. You almost feel like you’re hanging out at a friend’s apartment.

I SAT DOWN WITH BROOKLYN’S OWN, CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED MC, TALIB KWELI (STRAIGHT OFF HIS FAVORABLE MENTION IN JAY-Z’S “DECODED”), AND GOT THE SCOOP ON HIS FAVORITE NYC RESTO, ULTIMATE DINNER PLAYLIST, AND MORE! CHECK OUT MY EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW.
So everything that happens in Vegas doesn’t necessarily stay in Vegas! This Vegas Thai resto migrated to NYC a few weeks ago.
Everything we had was very good- some more memorable than others. The bold flavors, spicy kicks, textures, high quality ingredients, and combinations really got us excited . The broad menu offers regional and inventive dishes.
Tom Yum Koong: Spicy sour soup with prawns, lime, lemongrass and cilantro. A wonderful way to start the meal- a warm, flavorful bowl of yumminess!
This LES Build-Your-Own-Meal meatball spot is the best! It’s such a yummy concept.
