Chef Alessandro (Alex) Stratta brings a little Vegas to NYC by way of his new rustic Italian resto in the West Village, Bigoli. The food and service were on point, and I fell in love with the skylight that’s in the middle of the dining room.

Our senses were piqued as soon as we sat down because of the wood-burning oven. We sampled a wide range of items from Stratta’s inventive Italian menu that left us wanting more…especially the pesto dipping sauce.

My twin sister Antoinette and I hosted a chic dinner party for our friend Jen Yu’s birthday…and we did it in true Glam Foodie fashion!
The Theme: Toast To Jen Yu
The Invitations: We designed custom branded bottles of prosecco that were hand delivered to each guest

The Venue: Private room at Griffou- great food and a cool vibe
The Decor: We created a unique tablescape for the evening
The Guests: A lively bunch
Hudson Street is turning into Restaurant Row… in a good way! We can add Spasso (sister resto to L’Artusi and Dell’Anima) to the likes of Hudson Clearwater, En Japanese Brasserie, RedFarm, Caliu, Bistro de la Gare, Frankies 570 and Takashi.
Spasso is a cozy, low-key Italian resto in the West Village perfect for date night or a casual dinner with friends. The service was a bit off at this rustic resto but the food made up for it. Their pasta game is tight- handmade, simple, clean and tasty.
