This is definitely a spot where there’s no separation between church and state (dinner and nightlife). It’s great when you want a cool and upbeat environment- and you can always go downstairs to SL (club/lounge) to take things up a notch. Be prepared for a Euro and B&T crowd on certain nights at SL.
Abe & Arthur’s serves typical American fare reminiscent of a steak house menu with a few surprises.
I usually go with a group (which they are totally equipped for) and we share everything.
Tuna Tartare Tacos: Fresh, crisp and tasty
Hotel Griffou is definitely one of my faves! I love the vibe, food and decor (every room has a different theme)! They have a new chef (David Santos) at the helm so I was excited to try the new menu…..and David didn’t disappoint! We enjoyed everything! Actually, we enjoyed it so much that I forgot to take pictures (I did manage to get a shot of our dessert a few bites in). Don’t worry- I’m due back next week for a business dinner so I’ll snap a few shots then, and add it to this post.
This spot was featured in my Fall line-up, and I was dying to check it out.
Michael White strikes again- but this time with a casual and cozy Italian resto. When you first walk in it feels like a family-style restaurant that should be in Little Italy. The predominately wood decor gives it a very homely feel.
There was so much to choose from on the menu- sliced meats, salads, crostini’s, pasta, meat and fish! I couldn’t wait to dive in. We started with olive bread, and a perfectly balanced spread of olive oil. It was in the cutest little bottle.
A customizable treat: It’s gelato, sorbet or yogurt on a stick with or without toppings! There are lots of options in terms of flavors and toppings. I love this concept- it’s a great on-the-go option. It’s perfect for a snack or after dinner treat. There are so many great restaurants close by – Market Table, Bar Pitti, Da Silvano, Blue Ribbon Bakery, Aqua Grill, Ino, 10 Downing, Joe’s Pizza, John’s Pizza, Morandi, Ditch Plains, Pearl and more…..So you should grab a bite and top it off with a popbar!
I had a double dose of sushi on Friday- and believe me, I was in heaven!
It all started with a late lunch at Nobu with all the usual suspects- yellowtail jalapeno, miso cod, rock shrimp tempura in creamy spicy sauce, sashimi salad, sushi (spicy tuna, yellowtail and eel rolls) and mochi ice cream.
After lunch, I headed back to the office to bang out a few things, and at about 8p I headed over to Koi.
