It’s hard to score a stool at Mary’s Fish Camp (spawned from Pearl Oyster Bar) but it’s definitely worth the effort! You can indulge in a Seafood Feast in a charming and casual setting in the heart of the West Village (with the feeling that you’ve been transported to Cape Cod). So put your name on the list and grab a cocktail at a nearby spot- Fedora, San Ambroeus, etc.
Restaurant and nightlife impresario Serge Becker (of La Esquina, Cafe Select and The Box) has done it again! He created yet another spot with a cool-ass vibe, and put a hipster spin on ethnic food. This time it’s Miss Lily’s in the West Village/Soho. The low-key, kitschy-chic resto specializes in modern Jamaican/Caribbean cuisine. The menu is filled with traditional Jamaican staples with a twist. The food is rich, flavorful and tasty.
Miss Lily’s is more than a restaurant, it’s a highly curated scene. The front room has a diner feel while the back room is more edgy. The walls are laced with reggae album covers and the corner houses a resident DJ spinning Reggae, Soca and Calypso.
I went to Miss Lily’s this past weekend and I was really digging the vibe. The apps and the soundtrack were the real winners here!
Amar’e resurrected the NY Knicks, and for that we are all grateful! The Garden is buzzing again, and with the recent addition of Melo, the season continues to get better! Since arriving in NYC, Amar’e has been taking care of business on and off the court. He’s teaming up with Rachel Roy to produce a fashion line, launching youth basketball academies this summer, and is averaging 26 pts, 8 rebounds and 2 blocks per game. I would say Amar’e is #WINNING!
Amar’e has embraced all NYC has to offer especially when it comes to good eats!

I had dinner with my long time friend Jason Kidd last week, and it was lots of fun- as usual. The King of The Triple Double- 107 all time, 3rd behind Oscar Robinson and Magic Johnson isn’t missing a beat. The 17 year NBA veteran still has a lot of gas left in the tank leading the Dallas Mavericks to one of the best records in the West.
When it comes to food, Jason is a risk taker and open to trying new things. Historically, he always wants to finish first and the same holds true when it comes to a great meal.
