Only in MePa could you find a resto stocked with wine-filled vending machines. Vinatta Project (Mulberry Project’s sister resto) delivers Haute vibes! It’s perfect for large groups.

Even though I was a die-hard Florent fan, Vinatta Project doesn’t disappoint as the new resident of the space. There’s a wonderful selection of creative small plates (great for sharing) and divine cocktails crafted by skilled mixologists. They ask you what you like, and create an original cocktail for you.

Karl Lagerfeld has another chic collaboration to add to his illustrious list! To celebrate the 350th anniversary of the Château Rauzan-Ségla vineyard, Karl designed the label for the 2009 vintage. In true Karl fashion, he created a colorful and elegant sketch of the castle in the Margaux appellation of Bordeaux, France. Chanel acquired the winery in 1994 so it’s a family affair.

Gabrielle Union has lots on the docket but still makes time to hang with friends and loved ones at some of her favorite spots in LA and Miami! She’s teaming up with Tyler Perry again to star in his upcoming film “Good Deeds”, out in February. And that’s all… “Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man” hits theaters in April while Indie film “A Family Tree” is set to be released in the Spring. Seems like we’ll be seeing a lot of Gabby in 2012!

I happen to be in Murray Hill a few nights ago so I decided to roll by Inoteca. It’s the perfect spot for a glass of wine and a few small bites. I must warn you though, it’s always crowded and pretty loud. I have to say- I definitely prefer the LES outpost and the spot that started it all, Ino! Nevertheless, it’s a good option if you’re in the area.

Carbs are in full effect at this Italian wine bar delivering solid pasta dishes, paninis, bruschette, salads, meats and cheese.

Mario Batali’s cozy, high energy tapas joint always hits the spot! The collection of small plates are broad and inventive- delivering solid ingredients and robust flavors. Sitting at the counter overlooking the kitchen is always fun but don’t take it for granted- scoring a table is pretty tough. I highly recommend making a res! If there’s a bit of a wait, Bar Jamon, Casa Mono’s sister restaurant is right around the corner, it’s a great place to grab a cocktail and an appetizer or two.

Mario Batali does a great job of transporting you to a cafe in Spain- allowing you to sample tasty tapas and great wine.
